Kupfert & Kim
No gluten-free list is complete without mentioning Kupfert & Kim, a 100% gluten-free and vegan chain with multiple locations throughout Toronto. Kupfert & Kim really go hard when it comes to ensuring their ingredients are gluten-free, specifically sourcing their oats and tamari (often contaminated with gluten) from certified gluten-free distributors!
Located at 2313 Yonge Street, just a short walk north of Yonge & Eglinton, Kupfert & Kim’s healthy options will make you feel good about eating there…even if it’s multiple times a week!
Check out some of their burgers if you’re looking for something a little heftier like the Tahini Burger or the Guac Burger. If you want something a little lighter, they’ve got plenty of delicious bowls and salads that will satisfy your taste buds without feeling too heavy in your stomach!
Burger Tree
It makes sense that Burger Tree is next on our list considering they share an address with Kupfert & Kim at 2313 Yonge Street! Don’t be confused – they are actually located inside of the Kupfet & Kim – like a sneaky little gluten-free secret for those of us who want to be a little more indulgent!
There are some similarities between Burger Tree & their sister Kupfert & Kim, for one, they also happen to be 100% plant-based and gluten-free! But, their menu does look a little different!
At Burger Tree you’re going to find diner-inspired classics; burgers, fries, crispy “chick’n”, waffles, “cheez” fries…
Seriously, this menu is insanely mouth-watering! They even have some amazing shakes to choose from to complement the classic diner vibe: from Salted Caramel to Milk N’ Cookies, all shakes are made with vegan dairy options!
From their nachos to their Bahn Mi fries, this is a gluten-free spot in Toronto not to be missed!
The Burger’s Priest
The Burger’s Priest is one of the best burger spots in the Yonge & Eglinton area. They’re located right on the north-west corner of Yonge & Eglinton – you can’t miss them!
They offer gluten-free buns (which, don’t fall apart by the way!) and several of their burger options are gluten-free. Even their vegetarian burger option is gluten-free!
As always though, we recommend being cautious when ordering gluten-free at fast food spots due to the risk of cross-contamination.
