Cock-A-Doodle-Doo Gluten Free Bakeshop

As the name suggests, Cock-A-Doodle-Doo Gluten Free Bakeshop is another 100% gluten-free bakery in Toronto. Located on Bloor West just a short walk from Ossington Subway Station, Cock-A-Doodle-Doo Gluten Free Bakeshop offers many delicious bakery staples, including gluten-free cakes!

If you’re a chocolate lover, they offer 8″ and 10″ gluten-free chocolate cakes, which also happen to be vegan!

They also have a nice selection of gluten-free pies if that’s more your style, including pumpkin, apple, and apple-cranberry options.


Hype Food Co.

Hype Food Co. is a 100% gluten-free bakery in Toronto’s east-end offering a great selection of gluten-free cakes with some really fun customization options.

Have a birthday party for a gluten-free youngster coming up? Then Hype Food Co.’s Unicorn, Bunny, or Pokemon cakes would definitely be a big hit!

They also offer a really fantastic gluten-free cake customization service where you can even make a “photo” cake that includes a photograph of your choice in delicious, edible frosting.

We have to say, Butternut’s gluten-free cakes fall into the category of “almost-too-pretty-to-eat”! Truly, you can tell they really work hard to ensure their gluten-free cakes look just as good as they taste.

Butternut has the classic flavours, chocolate and vanilla, available in several sizes.

If you want the most aesthetically-pleasing options, consider their Ombre or Cherry Blossom cakes; especially perfect if your favourite colour happens to be pink!


Sweet Hart Kitchen

Sweet Hart Kitchen is another 100% gluten-free operation in Kensington Market, seriously, is Kensington a gluten-free paradise or what? Not only is everything at Sweet Hart Kitchen gluten-free, but everything is also vegan and naturally sweetened as well!

The cakes at Sweet Hart Kitchen would be well-suited for a farmhouse aesthetic Pinterest board; seriously, these are some really gorgeous gluten-free cakes!

The best part about Sweet Hart Kitchen is that they offer a huge variety of flavours, including cookies & cream, raspberry vanilla, cookie dough, pumpkin spice, caramel vanilla, and Matcha – just to name a few! They also encourage customers to get in touch if you don’t see the flavour you’re after – talk about really going the extra mile!

Unique to Sweet Hart Kitchen are their raw, no-bake, “Cheeze” cakes. These gluten-free cakes are a vegan version of the beloved cheesecake, except they’re coconut and cashew based – no dairy allowed! Plus, they’re totally raw, nothing has been baked, which is obviously safe in this situation considering they are vegan!

The “Cheeze” cakes come in 9 different flavours, including coffee toffee, chocolate peanut butter, and blueberry lemon lavender – yum!
